Great Northern Casino is an amazing land-based gaming facility located in the picturesque town of Grande Prairie in West Alberta. It is currently one of the most visited casino establishments north of Edmonton. The casino is owned and operated by GameHost Income Fund.

Grand Northern Casino was established in 1999. Over the last two decades, it expanded its collection of games that now consists of over 400 video slots, 30 video lottery terminals, over a dozen table games, and a dedicated poker room.

The venue stretches across 30,000 square feet of gaming space. Apart from prime-time gambling, you can also find many other forms of entertainment, including live music, comedy shows, karaoke nights, private parties, and more. While the hotel is independent of the casino, it organizes a Guest Appreciation night every Tuesday at 7 PM at the casinos Platinum Lounge, where appetizers and complimentary beverages are free. Moreover, the hotel is only a few metres away from the casino, so it represents the best choice for accommodation if you’re planning on visiting the casino for several days.
