The Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) has chosen BMM Testlabs as an independent testing lab for Ontario gaming providers.

“BMM is now officially authorized to test, audit and certify igaming products for Ontario.”

The leading testing laboratory and certification consultancy will provide compliance and testing services for online gambling products across the province.

BMM Testlabs extends its market reach

According to a press release, AGCO initially recognized BMM back in April 2021. Formal licensing followed in July.

“BMM Testlabs provides almost four decades of experience and expertise for the ever-evolving gaming industry,” Travis Foley, CTO/EVP, North America, shared.

“As emerging iGaming and sports wagering markets continue to develop, we can be trusted to help our partners navigate the regulatory landscape.”

“This approval will allow the company to test, audit and certify igaming products in Ontario and expand their reach even further.”

Foley also added that they would like to thank the AGCO for their effort and diligence throughout the approval process.

We are honoured that the AGCO has approved BMM Testlabs to test, audit and certify igaming products for Ontario and look forward to providing our testing services and technical consultancy to this significant jurisdiction,” he concluded.

BMM showing its growth in Europe

In January 2021, BMM Testlabs revealed a move into Europe, starting with a strong expansion in the Netherlands and Greece.

According to Deion Williams, Director of Technical Compliance for Europe and South America, BMM has high hopes for the future. “We are optimistic for what 2021 has in store for our European market,” he said earlier this year.

It’s worth mentioning that BMM wrote the first set of iGaming standards for the Kahnawà:ke Gaming Commission (KGC) in the 2000s. KCG regulates and controls gaming within and from the Mohawk Territory of Kahnawà:ke.

Also, it has helped gaming regulators, casino operators, and suppliers navigate the global regulatory landscape since its very beginning.

“Spread across 13 countries, BMM is the oldest and the most experienced private independent gaming testing lab.”

BMM is the longest-running (since 1981) and most experienced private independent gaming testing lab. Moreover, BMM is present in 13 countries with 14 global locations providing consultancy.

Over the last 38 years, the company has tested many of the world’s largest gaming networks and systems. They consistently aim to offer education and training for issues regarding manufacturers, operators and regulators.
