This week marks yet another gaming collaboration.
The Atlantic Lottery Corporation (ALC) has teamed up with Austria-based Neccton, an analytical application for online gambling providers. Once the agreement takes effect, ALC will adopt Neccton’s PlayWise rating tool.
The tool allows players protection from harmful play patterns.
Values aligned
The deal comes after Neccton won the contract via a public tender. The company had to prove its credentials and show how it would best serve ALC’s players.
Since being awarded the contract, Neccton has been working closely with the ALC team. The two parties have been strengthening the choice of responsible gambling features (RG) for players on alc.ca through the PlayWise rating tool.
Using cognitive dissonance, PlayWise gives real-time alerts about players’ behaviour to help break harmful play patterns. The tool also allows users to view an assessment of their online play patterns. However, a player must be active for at least 30 days for the assessment tool to work.
Confidential to each player, the rating is calculated by Neccton’s software using various measurements. Data considered includes the player’s use of responsible gambling tools, what games they enjoy, and how much time they spend playing. How much they usually wager and any significant changes to the metrics also play a role in player feedback.

An important addition

Players can choose from various titles, including instant games, draws, video lottery, sports, and online variants. All of which are available through ALC.
