Additional amenities are open
After being closed for most of the pandemic shutdown, Caesars Windsor reopens its bar and restaurant at half capacity.
The bar will be open daily from 11 am-12 am, while the restaurant’s dining hours will be Thursday-Monday, 4 pm-12 am. Complimentary parking is also available, and reservations are encouraged through the casino’s website.
“We happily announce a further reopening of additional amenities on our world-class property,” said Kevin Laforet, President, Caesars Windsor.
“Legends Sports Bar and Restaurant offers a unique experience for our guests with big-screen action and great food from our newly renovated kitchen.”
Mandatory proof of vaccination
Visitors require double vaccination following the Sept. 22 start of the Province of Ontario’s vaccination certificate program. So, in addition to proof of identification, guests will have to provide proof of vaccination to enter.
The casino is reopening with public health guidelines in place, including a mandatory mask policy. And, the casino has already developed safety measures to improve existing practices in all zones.
Caesars Sportsbook app ready for Ontario’s market launch
These days things are heating up in Ontario as the province’s planned launch of its competitive gambling market in December approaches.
Earlier this week, the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) started accepting applications for registration from interested operators and suppliers.
That said, those aiming for a foothold in Ontario’s betting market are getting ready to enter the province’s igaming scene. Including Caesars Sportsbook.
“We expect that igaming will be live in Ontario in late 2021 or early 2022 and look forward to the expansion of the Caesars Sportsbook App into Ontario, allowing our customers more ways to earn rewards,” said Caesars spokesperson Suzanne Tomkins.
“We look forward to sharing more details over the coming months when we are closer to launching sports betting here at Caesars Windsor.”
