Conquestador is officially live in Ontario. The New Zealand-based brand announced the launch of its Ontario online casino on Jan. 10.
Conquestador is the 41st online gaming operator to go live in Ontario since the market opened in April 2022. It is the first iGaming brand to go live in the province in 2023.
To date, Conquestador offers live dealer and casino games, but sports betting is not currently available.
Its operator – Mobinc – is no stranger to the international scene. After all, it already has Conquestador under gaming licenses with both the Great Britain Gaming Commission and the Malta Gaming Authority.
Mobinc chief executive: This is a great start to 2023
Mobinc’s chief executive, Sergei Belikov, said Ontario’s quick growth appealed to him.
“This is a great start to 2023; launching Conquestador in this new market is a huge milestone for Mobinc as we continue to expand both our global footprint and product offering,” Belikov said.
“The AGCO’s common-sense approach to regulation and licensing has meant the market has got up and running very quickly and we’re relishing the opportunity to help our partners flourish in this region.”
Conquestador Ontario online casino features live dealers
When punters visit Conquestador’s home page there will be four options available: sports, live dealers, casino and bonuses.
However, of the bunch, it appears only the live dealers and casino tabs are active at the time of the publication. Sports and bonuses will take you to a 404-page error (web page not available).
Nonetheless, live dealers have the following options:
Tournaments (roulette, baccarat and blackjack) are another marquee feature of the live dealer tab. According to Conquestador’s website, these events are already pulling in a couple hundred competitors with potential six-figure payouts on the line.
There is also an “Online Now” feature where players can filter the settings to their liking, including the minimum bet needed to play.
Conquestador features over 500+ slot titles
With that being said, Conquestador’s casino games are what separates it from its competitors – specifically its slot games.
Yes, the platform also has jackpots (one title total: 5 Lions Gold) and table games (four titles total). But with over 500+ slot games to choose from, there should be little wonder why the majority of players will spend their time here. Amongst those options, some of its most popular names include:
- Sugar Rush
- Big Bamboo
- Master Chen’s Fortune
- John Hunter & The Tomb of the Scarab Queen
- Big Bass Bonanza
- Retro Tapes
- Buffalo King Megaways
Meanwhile, the newest releases include:
- PinUp Girls
- Egyptian Darkness: Story of Egypt
- Wild Wild Bananas
- Dragon Hero
- RIP CITY
To bolster such a large selection, Conquestador called upon some of the industry’s leading game suppliers such as Microgaming and Pragmatic Play. Other collaborators included: Hacksaw Gaming, Push Gaming, Slotmill, Wazdan and Spinomenal.
Player experience, reviews remain sparse online
Despite its launch, Conquestador has, seemingly, done little promotion in the Ontario market – at least, yet.
For instance, scrolling through its social media won’t be of much use to players. That’s because the operator hasn’t updated its pages (Twitter, Instagram) since March 25, 2022. Typically, operators have been quite active on their social media accounts since joining iGaming Ontario by frequently including sports odds, casino offerings and potential bonuses.
Granted, there are bonuses listed on Conquestador’s website, itself. But one would argue the primary challenge lays in attracting players to that platform first – especially considering Ontario’s competitiveness.
PlayCanada contacted Conquestador and its operator, Mobinc, to inquire about potential future promotions and offerings for Ontarians. However, we did not receive a response by publication date.
Conquestador already holds license in two other jurisdictions
Nonetheless, Mobinc – perhaps – should be given the benefit of the doubt.
After all, the platform provider already holds licenses from the Great Britain Gaming Commission and the Malta Gaming Authority (Type 1 Remote), meaning it has entered an international market before.
To that end, scanning through Internet reviews shows predominantly favourably assessments of Conquestador’s offerings in its other jurisdictions. For example, many users applauded the brand’s large range of slots and leading game suppliers. But a select few did loathe its limited range of live dealer games and slot filter options.

Many other operators set to launch in 2023
The province’s gaming market could be home to more than 50 operators soon.
The following nine operators have received approval from the Alcohol and Gaming Commision of Ontario and just need to sign an operating agreement with iGO to begin taking bets:
- Betsafe
- Casino Days
- Casino Deal or No Deal
- Delta Bingo
- Fitzdares
- NetBet
- TonyBet
- Videoslots (Mr. Vegas, Videoslots)
- Wildz
Of the bunch, Betsafe is one of the most robust and intriguing options – particularly for sports fans. For instance, it has a sportsbook (major four sports leagues), casino, live casino, jackpot, Esports and virtual sports menus.
