Bragg Gaming Group (TSX:BRAG, OTC:BRGGF, FRA:SL4A) has announced board member Richard Carter has stepped into their CEO role.
Carter joins Bragg during a key moment in their growth. The company is engaged in an aggressive global strategy that includes expansion into the emerging North American iGaming market and an anticipated launch on the Nasdaq exchange.
Before joining the Bragg Board of Directors last fall, Carter was CEO of SBTech, a sports betting solutions and services provider. Carter led SBT for five years until a merger with DraftKings in April 2020.
Carter’s significant industry knowledge and extensive global network are sure to be invaluable to Toronto-based Bragg Group’s future growth.
Carter excited to lead Bragg expansion
“I’m excited to be leading Bragg in its next phase of growth and helping to shape the future of the company as we continue to provide next-generation premium content and tools to our B2B partners,” said Carter.
“Bragg has the cutting-edge technology, the data-driven insights, the player engagement tools and the premium content that ideally positions the company to capture an increasing proportion of global iGaming market.”
Carter is eager to leverage Bragg’s strengths to expand into core European markets and the rapidly growing North American iGaming sector.
Bragg Also Signs Deal with Logrand Entertainment
Bragg also announced a recent agreement between Mexico’s Logrand Entertainment and their subsidiary, Oryx Gaming. The deal will make Oryx content available to online players through Logrand’s Strendus Casino.
Founded in 2005, Logrand operates 10 land-based casinos throughout Mexico. Its online brand, Strendus (launched in 2018), has grown into a leading Mexican operator. Strendus offers customers a range of products, including casino games, sportsbooks, lottery, table games, and e-sports betting. The deal with ORYX will see these offerings expand significantly.
Agreement key to Bragg’s aim to expand global gaming presence
“Further strengthening our foothold in Mexico is key for us as we continue to expand our position as a global supplier,” said Matevž Mazij, Managing Director of ORYX Gaming. “Strendus Casino is a reputable and well-known brand in the Mexican market, and we’re thrilled to extend their offering with engaging and entertaining content from our sought-after RGS studios.”
“We pride ourselves in offering a comprehensive product to our customers,” said Eduardo Pelaez, Online Products Manager at Logrand Entertainment Group. Pelaez believes Logrand’s offering will be even more attractive with ORYX’s dynamic content.
ORYX’s exclusive RGS content provides top-ranking, localized content from studios including GAMOMAT, Kalamba Games, Givme Games, Golden Hero, Peter & Sons, and Arcadem. Additionally, Logrand will implement ORYX’s portfolio of virtual lotteries.
Strendus can also utilize ORYX’s player engagement and data tools through ORYX Hub. The hub offers real-time leaderboards, free rounds, tournaments, jackpots, quests, and achievements. Features proved to drive player engagement, conversion, retention, loyalty and value.
ORYX Gaming + Dazzletag
Recently, Bragg also announced that ORYX Gaming would take its exclusive RGS content live across Dazzletag’s many brands.
The mix of classic and innovative titles from ORYX’s RGS providers will be available on Dazzletag’s online casinos.
Initially, the content will be rolled out with Dazzletag’s MGA licensed brands (FruitKings, Play Sunny, My Jackpot Casino), eventually following suit in the UK. Content will be available via Microgaming’s award-winning aggregation platform.
“We’re excited to take our content live with Dazzletag’s popular brands across a number of markets,” said Mazij. “Our content fits nicely into Dazzletag’s existing offering. And, with an innovative approach and player focus similar to our own, this partnership is certain to be a success.”
Jordana Rosamund, casino manager at Dazzletag, added: “ORYX’s RGS offering provides unique and varied content, with classic titles as well as games with innovative mechanics and features that we know will resonate well with our players. We’re always on the lookout for games that offer our players fun and excitement. This collection of titles from premium studios ticks all the boxes.”
Founded in 2010, Dazzletag operates several casinos and bingo sites through its own proprietary iGaming platform software.
Bragg also noted ORYX recently signed several deals, significantly expanding its European footprint.
