With success established in Spain and Portugal, GoldenPark is soon to make its way to Ontario.
Through an agreement with Gaming Innovation Group, the GoldenPark platform will enter the Ontario online casino regulated market.
This is the first deal for GoldenPark to be brought outside of the Iberian peninsula.
Spanish operator brings immersive online gaming experience
A partner with Gaming Innovation Group, GoldenPark is hoping to make a splash overseas, starting with Ontario.
The operator is an authentic online casino offering a variety of roulette, blackjack and slot games. It also includes a sports betting section on its online casino.
GoldenPark boasts itself as a fully immersive online gaming experience, as if the user was inside a traditional gaming hall.
Currently, five GiG partners are already live or in development in Ontario. That includes: bet365, LeoVegas and Kindred Group (Unibet).
That gives GoldenPark the ability to leverage GiG’s experience and innovative technology in the province. It also will allow the operator to grow as a product to deliver a localized and personalized customer experience.
“The Ontario online market is a significantly strong one for GiG and, as a valued existing partner, we’re delighted to be able to take GoldenPark into North America for the first time,” said CCO of GiG Marcel Elfersy, in a press release.
“It’s a testament to the strength and flexibility of our offering and the relationship we’ve built with GoldenPark, that we are able to explore and grow new opportunities together.”
GoldenPark intrigued by Ontario’s growing market
GiG has placed significant value on the strength of harvesting relationships with its partners.
One of those markets is Ontario, which launched legalized online casinos in April of 2022. As of July 2023, it has generated $35.6 billion in total wagers since launch.
Overall, there are over 1.6 million monthly players in the Ontario market.
“One of GoldenPark’s biggest challenges for 2024 is the launch of our Ontario operation,” GoldenPark will meet its goals,” said Jose Giacomelli, Consejero Delgago of the MGA Online Division.
“Ontario represents a vibrant and rapidly growing market and we believe that, together with GiG.”
Ontario online casino players can expect to see GoldenPark’s availability in the months to come, adding another option to the dozens of others in the mix in the province.
