The $1 billion entertainment destination will introduce a new poker room later this summer. The Ontario casino will also be opening its brand-new 400-room hotel on August 1.
The opening of these new facilities will be the latest milestones in the destination’s development, with more to come.

Officials say the opening of the Hotel at Great Canadian Toronto on Aug. 1 marks an opportunity to cater to both leisure and business travelers. The new Canada casino and its hotel are located just minutes from Toronto Pearson Airport. There will be 400 rooms, including several accessible rooms and suites catering to the diverse needs and preferences of guests.
Nearly half of the guest rooms have great views of the legendary Woodbine Racetrack. Each guest room has modern amenities, including a 55″ Smart TV, in-room safe, complimentary Wi-Fi, a mini fridge and a coffee maker.
There are also prestige suites that offer an array of additional features, including a separate living room, a fully equipped kitchenette with a full-size fridge and microwave and a large bathroom featuring a separate tub and shower.
Additionally, the hotel will soon reveal its wellness area. The space will include a fitness centre and a wet area featuring a heated indoor pool, a hot tub and a steam room. It is all set to open in the coming months in different phases. Reservations for the hotel are now open and can be made by visiting Great Canadian Toronto’s website.

Great Canadian Casino Resort Toronto’s new poker room should be a welcome addition that caters to the local poker community.
It will offer 30 tables on a private floor with electronic table games and slots available for people waiting. There will also be varying levels of ‘No Limit’ and ‘Limit’ stake games.
However, larger poker tournaments will be a prominent feature in the new poker room. For players looking for an elevated gaming experience, the poker room will also include four tables placed in a semi-private area. This exclusive section will cater to higher-stakes games and final tables.
The property also has the opening of new restaurants and a dining hall on the way. Meanwhile, a 5,000-seat entertainment venue will also open in the coming months as well as retail options. The facility also has two PlaySmart centres on the gaming floor, filled with tools and responsible gambling resources for all players.
