Loto-Québec continues to bulk up its Canada online casino offerings.
The Crown Corporation partnered with Swedish iGaming software provider Fantasma Games to bring its thrilling portfolio to Québecois players. The deal allows Espacejeux players to enjoy a selection of Fantasma’s most popular games.
The addition includes the support of Light & Wonder (formerly Scientific Games), a global leader providing expansive gaming experiences.
Delivering ‘innovative’ online casino games
With 20 online casino games in its portfolio, Fantasma works with 200 operators and has players in 50 countries. The company is thrilled to add Canada to that list. As Fantasma’s founder, Fredrik Johansson, said:
“We are incredibly excited to see our games go live with Loto-Quebéc and to be able to enter the Canadian market through Light & Wonder. Expanding into new markets is hugely important for our overall strategy and OpenGaming’s global reach is exactly why we partnered with Light & Wonder in the first place.”
Other trendy titles are soon to follow added Johansson.
“This is our first release of many to come and we believe that our unique and innovative games will be interesting for the players and operators in Canada.”
Fantasma, founded in 2016, has headquarters in Stockholm. The company’s partnership with OpenGaming last year marked the company’s first significant milestone.
Striking a deal with Loto-Québec is another.
Support by Light & Wonder
From the beginning, Fantasma Games established its presence and built a reputation in the Canada online gambling market with Light & Wonder’s support.
According to Light & Wonder’s director of partnerships Steve Mayes:
”Fantasma Games is highly regarded amongst our OpenGaming operating partners, which recognize the studio’s ability to develop fun and immersive games. As the leading content aggregation platform provider to the global iGaming industry, we understand the important role we can play in providing a route to new markets for developers such as Fantasma Games.”
Mayes added Light & Wonder is proud to support Fantasma Games’ entry into Canada and believes its portfolio will resonate with a broad audience.
Light & Wonder uses OpenGaming’s platform, enabling studios to increase their engagement in the market. Thanks to OpenGaming, Fantasma releases are already part of Loto-Québec’s online casino.
The available games include Wild-West-themed Bounty Showdown, one of the company’s latest and most popular titles.
