The MLS regular season will conclude on Sunday, Nov. 8 with all three Canadian teams in action. The MLS is operating with a points per game format to determine standings and playoff seeding, and there is still room for movement on Sunday’s regular season finale, known as Decision Day.
Not all teams reached the 23-game revised schedule with postponements and cancellations, so changes needed to be made to determine which teams will see the greatest advantage heading into the postseason, which is slated to get started on Nov. 20.
Below is a preview of the day’s matchups involving the three Canadian teams with the Montreal Impact, Toronto FC and Vancouver Whitecaps FC in addition to available items to bet on along with futures odds for the MLS Cup.
All odds are via a popular United States sportsbook.
DC United vs. Montreal Impact
The Montreal Impact will get the game against DC United underway at 3:30 p.m. ET, and the game will be held at Audi Field in Washington, D.C. This is a massive game against Montreal. Though there are a number of ways the Impact can find a way into the playoffs, a victory over DC United would automatically send them into the postseason.
Unfortunately for Montreal, DC United finds itself in a similar must-win situation to be a part of the playoffs from the Eastern Conference.
