It’s official! NFL expands its partnership with FanDuel in Canada.
According to the company’s press release, FanDuel will become an official sportsbook partner of NFL betting in Canada.
FanDuel Canada president Dale Hooper told PlayCanada.com:
“Each and every partnership matters to us at FanDuel, so joining forces with the NFL is a big one! We’re ready to tap into the passion and excitement that Ontario’s sports fans have for the NFL. We are very excited, and can’t wait to start another great NFL season.”
Expanding the existing partnership
Now that FanDuel announced a multi-year agreement with the NFL, two parties will expand their existing US partnership across the northern border. Thanks to this deal, the operator will have the right to use official NFL and member club IP.
FanDuel will also have the right to create “NFL-themed, free-to-play games and run NFL-themed campaigns” to enhance the league and its visibility. It will also allow FanDuel Sportsbook Canada to use various ways to boost fans’ engagement and connect with sports supporters.
As Hooper shared:
“There’s a lot of passion for the NFL in Canada and it’s only been increasing over the last few years. We wanted to build a deeper connection with those fans and will be able to do so with this new partnership.”
The exciting opportunities for FanDuel members will also include a chance to win trips to NFL games—involving the most-exclusive event, the Super Bowl. Other player benefits are also included in the mix.
FanDuel ads to be featured across multiple TSN and NFL platforms
FanDuel’s advertising will feature prominently on NFL-operated digital platforms, including NFL.com.

FanDuel has a partnership with TSN, the NFL’s television broadcast partner in Canada. It means players can also expect in-game sports betting experiences presented by FanDuel.

The two parties signed a five-year deal to deliver an exclusive Super Bowl betting experience to Ontario football fans on OLG’s Proline Plus platform.
