Gaming Laboratories International (GLI) is officially an independent testing laboratory (ITL) for Ontario’s soon-to-launch competitive gambling market.
GLI’s successful registration with the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) authorizes the company to certify iGaming components. Operators require testing of various technologies, including games, random number generators (RNGs), and platforms/remote gaming servers (RGS).
Gaming Laboratories International Officially Appointed by AGCO
With over 30 years of international experience, GLI is the only lab working in all existing and emerging gaming jurisdictions.
Undoubtedly, that will fuel GLI’s expertise as they help AGCO, registered operators, and gaming suppliers navigate Ontario’s exciting online gambling opportunities.
“GLI already works as an official testing lab throughout all of Canada’s regulated provinces, including recently-launched Alberta.”
Moreover, GLI recently helped with the online platform launch in Alberta. The company also supported other provinces in meeting the technical standards of their provincial regulations.
“Beyond wanting the AGCO and province of Ontario to greatly benefit, we also want operators and suppliers to be commercially successful, all while maintaining the highest levels of integrity in compliance,” said Salim L. Adatia, GLI’s Vice President of Client Services for North America.
“Our technical and regulatory compliance teams are ready to test, consult and advise on best practices to achieve that.”
GLI will have much more to offer
“It is extremely exciting to see the future of the iGaming landscape emerge in Ontario,” said CEO James Maida. “GLI is proud to be a part of it and honoured to have been registered as an authorized test lab by the AGCO.”
Maida added that they are always preparing for what’s next—land-based, digital, or both. And GLI has experts on the ground all over the world.
“As the pioneer in iGaming and sportsbook testing and certification, we know we will have much to offer, and our global professionals are ready to help in ways no one else can,” he said.
Further, GLI is ready to provide pre-certification testing, jurisdictional consultation, and regulatory advisory support to interested operators and suppliers. The guidance will help them better understand the AGCO Registrar’s Standards for Internet Gaming.
GLI also offers a full suite of services like GAP Analyses and Transfers of Approval. This includes educational services for online gambling or sports betting compliance, workshops, and more.
Founded in 1989, GLI has tested equipment for 480 jurisdictions to date. Currently operating across six continents, clients include gaming regulators, suppliers, and casino operators.
