PartyPoker Welcomes 2023 With Ontario Poker Championships

The two-week online poke tournament running from Jan. 8 through Jan. 23 features $600,000 in combined guarantees.

PartyPoker is kicking off the new year with an online poker tournament just for its Ontario customers. The Ontario Poker Championships starts Sunday, Jan. 8 and runs through Jan. 23.

The tournament features $600,000 in combined guarantees. Buy-ins range from $1.10 to $530.

Players are encouraged to check out the tournament on Sunday’s launch day.

Sunday features PartyPoker’s biggest $55 tournament

On Sunday, PartyPoker will play host to its biggest standalone $55 tournament in history.

The Opener begins at 6:05 p.m. (all times ET) with a $10,000 guaranteed prize pool that is the largest PartyPoker has ever offered in Ontario. The same day, also beginning at 6:05 p.m., PartyPoker will offer a $5.50 event featuring a guaranteed prize pot of $1,000.

That’s just the beginning.

Also on Sunday, PartyPoker will offer guaranteed pots of $25,000 (The Big Sunday) and $20,000 beginning at 8:05 p.m. There will be a $5,000 guaranteed prize pool for a Max PKO Fast tournament beginning at 10:05 p.m. and a $1,000 guaranteed pot for a Short Stack Hyper game starting at 11:05 p.m.

$50,000 Main Event PKO set for Jan. 23

On Jan, 23, PartyPoker will also offer three huge progressive knockout tournaments, with each beginning at 7:05 p.m:

  • $50,000 guaranteed Main Event with a $109 buy-in
  • $20,000 guaranteed Main Event with a $33 buy-in
  • $2,000 guaranteed Main Event with a $3.30 buy-in
