Well-known online gambling operator PointsBet has signed an agreement with hockey sites Dailyfaceoff.com and the Nation Network. The deal makes PointsBet Canada the site’s exclusive sports betting partner.
“As PointsBet looks to establish a genuine connection with sports fans in Canada, there was no better place for us to start than the Daily Faceoff and the Nation Network’s loyal and dedicated following,” said PointsBet Canada’s CCO Nic Sulsky.
“We are excited about what we can do to integrate our vision, product, and consumer-first mentality into their authentic mix of content.”
Apart from PointsBet’s presence on Dailyfaceoff.com, the collaboration will include integration into the Nation Network and its affiliate sites.
A multi-year deal
Dailyfaceoff.com and Nation Network users can now view PointsBet odds and analysis from PointsBet experts. Site users will also gain access to enhanced tools to inform their daily sports experience across platforms.
Nation Network and Dailyfaceoff.com co-founder and chief executive Jay Downton shared enthusiasm.
“PointsBet is our ideal partner, an organization that understands the community that The Nation Network and Dailyfaceoff.com has built.”
“We are a company built by fans for fans, and we know what our users want to have incorporated into their experience. PointsBet’s expert analysis and suite of integrations will complement and enhance our content. We are excited to work and grow together,” he added.
As one of the most prominent online destinations, the Network offers NHL, MLB, and NBA coverage, featuring breaking news, analysis, and fantasy projections. All with a healthy dose of humour.
Through diverse content delivery (stories, social posts, and videos), the Network informs millions of sports fans across Canada. Additionally, its independent sites and fan-created podcasts help bring unique voices to sports journalism.
On the other hand, Dailyfaceoff.com is one of Canada’s most popular source of professional insights, statistical analysis, breaking news, and inside information. All of this is vital to sports bettors who want to stay informed on fantasy statistics.
Former TSN senior hockey reporter Frank Seravalli anchors the site. Together with Jason Gregor, Seravallli hosts the DFO Rundown, one of Canada’s highest-ranked sports podcasts.
Daily Faceoff marks 1.5 million monthly visits that have generated 500 million page views since its launch in 2009.
