World-famous chef Gordon Ramsay is expanding his restaurant empire by bringing new culinary offerings to casinos and resorts in Canada. This is thanks to a new partnership between Ramsay and Great Canadian Entertainment.
Many will recognize Ramsay from his laundry list of successful TV shows, like Hell’s Kitchen and Masterchef. However, in these establishments, customers won’t be trying to eat a meal while a man is yelling and swearing at other chefs in the kitchen. That kind of stuff makes for great TV but doesn’t work so well during a regular dining experience.
However, two Canada casinos will soon be home to restaurants run by arguably the most famous chef in the world. This announcement will indeed excite foodies across the Lower Mainland in British Columbia.
Vancouver and Richmond casinos to get new Gordon Ramsay restaurants
This fall, Gordon Ramsay Burger is set to open its doors at Hard Rock Casino Vancouver, BC, the first of its kind in Canada. Chef Ramsay’s signature burger concept marries culinary finesse with comfort food nostalgia. Guests will enjoy a mouth-watering assortment of gourmet burgers, sauces from scratch, handcrafted shakes and amazing sides. The menu will ensure a complete and satisfying dining experience for any burger enthusiast.
Meanwhile, Gordon Ramsay Steak will open at River Rock Casino Resort in Richmond, BC, sometime next year. This also marks the introduction of Chef Ramsay’s signature steak brand to the Canadian marketplace. Gordon Ramsay Steak is known for its elegant atmosphere and excellent service. The people at Great Canadian Entertainment say the new restaurant will become a beacon of fine dining excellence at River Rock Casino Resort. Guests will indulge in some of the chef’s signature dishes, including his famous Beef Wellington.
Gordon Ramsay Burger and Gordon Ramsay Steak both offer rich and immersive dining experiences. Stylishly designed interiors will be the perfect backdrop for guests to savour the culinary delights presented by Chef Ramsay’s talented chefs.

Gordon Ramsay turns towards Canada’s restaurant industry again
Chef Ramsay’s restaurant brands include Gordon Ramsay’s Hell’s Kitchen, Gordon Ramsay Street Pizza and Gordon Ramsay Fish & Chips. Ramsay’s North American restaurant business operates restaurants in several US cities, including New York, Boston, Chicago and Las Vegas. His steak and burger shops are the first to open in Canada.
Gaming and hospitality company Great Canadian Entertainment, which runs Hard Rock Casino Vancouver and River Rock Casino Resort, along with 23 others across Canada, said more Ramsay eateries could follow.
This begs the question of what other locations might gain some attention from the world-renowned chef. Perhaps the Great Canadian Casino Resort Toronto is next on the list. Toronto’s new megacasino is all the rage right now and could be the perfect spot for a Gordon Ramsay-branded restaurant.
I have actually been to the Gordan Ramsay Hell’s Kitchen in Las Vegas. I can say without a doubt the food is as good as advertised. The beef wellington melted in my mouth. Also, the baked macaroni and cheese, which comes with crispy prosciutto on top, might have been better than the mac and cheese my mom used to make.
As of now, Canadians hoping to get a taste of what Chef Ramsay’s team has to offer will need to travel to Hard Rock Casino Vancouver starting this fall or make a trip to the States and try and get a seat at one of his esteemed restaurants.
