The NBA has posted another double-double in the betting world. And this time, it is taking the shape of an expanded multi-year agreement with DraftKings and FanDuel. The deal – announced on Nov.4 - makes the pair of betting giants the official betting partners of the NBA in Canada. Both are currently responsible for the NBA’s betting needs in the US.

That's because the franchise – alongside the (now defunct) Vancouver Grizzlies – had their feature short film "Born Identities" released the night prior. Directed by Kathleen S. The duo teamed up for a short film programme to celebrate the world’s top professional basketball league’s 75th anniversary season. The partnership will see five Canadian filmmakers debut their works at the 2021 Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF).
