Canadian Gillian Robertson will get back in the octagon to take on Taila Santos  on Saturday night in the women’s flyweight division. UFC Fight Night is scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 19 at UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The Robertson-Santos fight is part of the preliminary fights, which get started at 4 p.m. ET, and the event is highlighted by Stephen Thompson and Geoff Neal in the welterweight fight. The main card will get started at 7 p.m. ET.

Here is some additional information on each fighter heading into the bout. Robertson comes in with more experience in the UFC fighting game.

Gillian Robertson

Robertson was born in Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada, and heads into this fight with a 9-4 record. She stands at 5-foot-5 and 125 pounds with a 63-inch reach, and a 35.5-inch leg reach. Robertson won four of her last five fights including each of her last two.

In her last time out, Robertson earned a unanimous decision victory over Poliana Botelho at UFC Fight Night 180 in October.

Taila Santos

Santos is from Brazil, with a slight height advantage at 5-foot-6 and 125 pounds. She has a significant reach advantage at 68 inches and a longer leg reach at 37.5 inches. Santos enters with a 16-1 record, though she’s just 1-1 in UFC fights.

Santos earned her first UFC victory in July by winning in a unanimous decision over Molly McCann. She was supposed to fight Montana De La Rosa earlier this month, but it was canceled due to a positive coronavirus test in De La Rosa’s camp.

Santos won 15 consecutive fights before being promoted to UFC.
