Speaking of jackpots, the casino has awarded over $13 million in jackpot prizes over the course of 2020 alone, even though the casino’s season was cut short due to the pandemic.

Shorelines Casino Belleville history

Shorelines opened its doors on January 11, 2017, thus becoming the only casino in the city and the only casino to open in Ontario in the last decade. Considering that it’s still relatively new, Shorelines Casino did not need to go through any major renovations in the past four years.

The casino was closed down in March of 2020 due to the measures taken to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic, but it was reopened in September the same year, although working in limited capacities.

Today, Shorelines is still the most modern casinos in Ontario. It serves thousands of Ontarian players, while also having a substantial influx of American tourists.
