You can then redeem these points at the rate of $1 for every 200 credits. They can be used for slots, or for food or hotel stays.
As well as the redeemable reward credits, you’ll also earn tier credits, which can move you up the different levels and bring even greater rewards. The scheme starts off with a gold card, before moving to Platinum, Diamond, Diamond Plus, Diamond Elite, and Seven Stars.
There are significant benefits to reaching the higher tiers. When you reach the diamond levels you can enjoy 15% off the best advertised rates on rooms or a celebration dinner up to a value of $100. History of Caesars Windsor, Ontario
The original idea for the casino came in 1993. The Ontario government selected a joint venture between Caesars World, Circus Circus Enterprises, and Hilton Hotels to create the first province-owned casino. It opened at a temporary site in May 1994 at the former Art Galley in Windsor, while the main site was under construction.
The main site opened on July 29, 1998, complete with a James Bond theme for the grand opening. It featured a waterfall and tropical entrance, five restaurants, a gift shop, and a hotel.
In 2008, a major renovation took place at a cost of $400 million, which also saw the casino given its current name of Caesars Windsor (previously it had been known as Casino Windsor). The grand re-opening featured Billy Joel performing as the guest star.
