According to a press release dated March 23, 2026, Caesars opens pre-registration for Alberta residents aged 21 and older. The operator announced individuals can now sign up early for Caesars Palace Online Casino, Caesars Sportsbook & Casino, and Horseshoe Online Casino.

This announcement comes amid efforts to regulate Alberta online casinos, a move aimed at tapping into the unregulated iGaming market. Government sources estimate that this unregulated market accounts for up to 70% of online gambling in Alberta.

With this announcement, Caesars joins BetRivers and PointsBet as online casinos accepting pre-registrations in Alberta ahead of the official launch of regulated online gambling in Alberta.

BetRivers & Others Also Accepting Early-Bird Registrations

Caesars is not the first online casino to open early access to Albertans. BetRivers and PointsBet Casino have already begun accepting registrations from prospective players in the province. Meanwhile, several more operators are likely to make similar announcements in the coming weeks.

BetRivers Casino is offering a $50 Early Bonus Money to players who sign up during its early access period. Meanwhile, PointsBet has yet to reveal specifics, but it is also promising an exclusive bonus to players who pre-register ahead of its official launch.

Private iGaming Companies to Launch Later This Year: Minister Dale Nally

Speaking with Alberta media earlier this year, Dale Nally (Minister of Service Alberta and Red Tape Reduction) hinted at a mid-2026 launch date for iGaming sites in the province. The minister stopped short of confirming an official launch date, but his remarks carry weight, given that he’s overseeing the regulation of Alberta’s gaming industry.

Moreover, Minister Nally’s mid-2026 prediction tallies with provisional deadlines set by relevant agencies and regulators. Earlier publications from Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis (AGLC) have set a July 13 deadline for all prospective operators to submit their applications.

With popular iGaming sites now accepting early bird registrations, a spring/summer launch appears even more likely. That said, players should watch for an official launch date announcement in the coming weeks.

Pre-register on Caesars’ iGaming Products for Exclusive Early-Access Bonuses

Caesars has confirmed that early registrants will receive exclusive bonuses when its products officially launch in Alberta. However, it hasn’t yet disclosed the specific offer details for each of its products.

Alberta residents aged 21 and older can now download Caesars Sportsbook & Casino, Horseshoe Casino, and Caesars Palace Online Casino to sign up early and enjoy exclusive bonuses.
